My progress with my learning goals is mostly obersavtions. I have seen some classroom management skills but I have not been able to practice them any. I have seen ways to handle children with disabilities that can get violent. Personally I have only delt with a few girls that do not listen to subsititutes. My PDS plan has been very helpful. The only changes I have made are in the order I do some things. It has been easier to do somethings when ever there is extra time and the people I need to observe have time. It has kept me on track to visually see what is needed to still be completely and how long I have left to complete it.

I was in the same position as you are in now with only being an observer. Why am I in my tutor year but only observing and doing what I've been doing for the past two years? If you talk to your host teacher I'm sure he or she would love to integrate you more into the classroom like mine did. I am now teaching two full classes of 6th and 8th graders, and getting experience I may not have been experiencing if I didn't have the motivation to progress.
